I rank these series based on the priority of my watch list. As when I finally looked at the spring list as a whole. It might be the best season of the year. As this season is one that is just loaded with some amazing anime and epic returns. So let’s talk (Future Dez: and rant) about the anime coming out Spring 2020.

10) BNA

Me and Trigger have had a complicated relationship. As every show is either amazing with shows like Kill la Kill and SSSS.Gridman. But, since the downfall of Darling in the Franxx I still look at them with a side eye. (Future Dez Warning: Darling in the Franxx Rant Incoming. Skip to the next paragraph for BNA talk)

And you know what, I am happy that I didn’t have my blog around the Darling in the Franxx time. Cause I would have been hyping the living hell out of it. If you saw me I was praising it like crazy until that episode. Like I remember I had an instagram post (which I deleted) cursing out Ichigo and saying all these things. The only reason that I did that was because of the amazing characters that I got attached to in the first half. Man that show was very impactful to me. Like I remember for a moment a single moment when Zero Two and Hiro got back together I legit thought that this was going to be one of the modern classics. But, I was wrong.

Back to the anime that I was supposed to talk about. I go back and forth with Trigger Shows. This is a trigger show I watch. I like the style because it is very Kill la Kill like and this looks like it is gonna be fun.

Michiru lived life as a normal human, until one day she suddenly turns into a tanuki-human. She runs away and takes refuge in a special city area called “Anima City” that was set up 10 years ago for animal-humans to be able to live as themselves. There Michiru meets Shirou, a wolf-human who hates humans. Through Shirou, Michiru starts to learn about the worries, lifestyle, and joys of the animal-humans. As Michiru and Shirou try to learn why Michiru suddenly turned into an animal-human, they unexpectedly get wrapped up in a large incident.

9) Shokugeki no Souma Season 5

I won’t go on a rant as I have this post for it (Food Wars How Far Have You Fallen). Seeing how I just went on a Darling in the Franxx rant. Seeing this is the last season.(spoiler alert for anime only) This evil brother/rescue Erina again/ruins every character motivation and purpose arc and all the bullsht with it is gonna be fun. I can’t wait to curse the living hell out of this. I will be watching it and I can’t wait to make another post to solely sht on the anime.

8) My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

It is an isekai that I am gonna watch because I am trash. As last season I was thinking that I was done completely with it. Until a friend kept telling me to watch shield hero and In watched it. It was one of the most enjoyable first episodes that I watched. So I accepted that I will still watch Isekai until I die. It is just never gonna leave me. Also this plot gives me “The World God Only Knows” vibes so i’ll watch it.

Official Synopsis via J-Novel Club: After hitting her head particularly hard one day, Duke Claes’ daughter, Katarina, suddenly recalls all the memories of her past life: that of a teenage Japanese girl. Just before her untimely death, this girl recalls playing an otome game… that is exactly like the world she’s living in now! 7) Nami yo Kiite Kure

I see that this is made by Sunrise (Studio of Gintama). I looks like it is gonna be one hell of a fun anime that I can’t wait for. The trailer alone makes me see that it will give me a lot of laughs.

One night, our heroine, Minare Koda, spills her heartbroken woes to a radio station worker she meets while out drinking one night. The next day, she hears a recording of her pitiful grumbling being played live over the air. Minare storms into the station in a rage, only to then be duped by the station director into doing an impromptu talk show explaining her harsh dialogue. With just one recording, the many eccentric facets of Minare’s life begin to pull every which direction as she falls ever deeper into the world of radio.

6) Gleipnir

Now I have read the manga to this. It is weird, edgy as hell, while having some of the most interesting characters that I have seen in awhile. Note this is a seinen so I don’t know what they are gonna do with certain scenes but, I will be watching this.

But she’s searching for the sister who killed her family, and she doesn’t care how degrading it gets: she will use Shuichi to accomplish her mission…

5) Kingdom 3rd Season

This is Kingdom’s last chance of having a good anime. As season one was garbage. Season two was only good for screenshots. Now this season is one that I have a lot of hopes for. As it covers the coalition army arc. Which I say is the second greatest arc in fiction. So just seeing this animated and animated good would bring tears to my eyes. Also I heard that the anime will have the same sound director as Attack On Titan so I can’t wait.

4) Tower of God

Now this anime is one that I can’t wait to watch. As the start of Tower of God gave me Hunter Exam (HunterXHunter) vibes from the jump. So if you are into that you will love this arc. Like seriously the cast is amazing. My queen Endorsi finally gets to be animated and this is gonna be a fun ride and hopefully open the gates for Bastard to get animated.

3) SNAFU Season 3

Now this anime is one that I am catching up with before the third season comes out. Which my perspective is based on the first season and the first two episodes of season two I am in love with it. This anime is one that I am hooked on a lot. So I can’t wait for this anime that is not even number one in a stacked spring season.

2) Kaguya-sama Season 2

I have never laughed and had so much fun watching an anime. Like this is one of those series that I really think when said and done will be up there in my top anime of all time. Like there are rare series that have hit me so much. The cast is amazing, I love the dynamic between the two main characters. Chika is the GOAT, and the maid who is leaving my mind right now is chill and hilarious as well. I really can just watch this anime forever and ever just because of the writing and the animazing direction of this series. Also this one is one that I am gonna keep up with weekly and try to make reviews on cause number one on this list is one that is even crazier.

1) Re:Zero Season 2

I have waited patiently for it. When I first saw that trailer tears came to my eyes. As it is just that good. I love the cast and upon rewatching I am seeing more and more about the lore of the world. I can’t wait to talk about this weekly, I can’t wait to praise our goddesses in Rem and Beatrice. I can’t wait for episode one cause I already know that it is gonna break twitter. So get ready for A LOT more suffering.

Final Thoughts

I just want to say that Fruits Basket 2nd Season was gonna be on this list. As I love this anime really much but, I am really behind on it. But, it is a series that I never watched the original and I am really excited to see what happens in it. What other anime am I looking forward to? Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Part 2 (HA HA HA THAT IT F*CKING HILARIOUS YOU DROPPED THAT SERIES AFTER GUN GALE). Another anime that I probably will watch is Kakushigoto as it is another comedy that I am looking forward to. I think that is everything that I will be looking forward to this spring. Well I really need to catch up to the Winter lineup cause I am behind. Until next time, be great my A&M people.
