Alright time for another episode of Katarina’s Harem Formation. As we get deeper into this episode we see that the harem intensifies every moment. We get the backstory of Maria and what she has been through. We even got some fun Katarina moments. Also the mother returns! So let’s talk about episode 5 of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

Stealing Maria’s Heart

There is something that I am very concerned about. As you can see that it looks like Katarina is taking all of the flags of Maria. With this and coming to her house. Making Maria fall in love with her more and more. Meaning, that something crazy would happen if you stole all the flag of her heart. Like would Maria fall insanely in love with Katarina to the point of Yandere tendencies.

Maria’s Backstory

Like there is only so much that you can make me love a character. As Maria’s backstory of being a like that shines so brightly. In a land of darkness, that the people of that land grew jealous. Maria never asked for her great power but she received it and had to struggle through her whole life alone. I felt that backstory and her making food to try to make friends. It made me feel for her character. It’s really crazy cause I feel like she is one of the best written characters.

Random Theory

I feel as if the second half of the season is where a new antagonist will appear in place of Katarina. As the game world is filling in people where Katarina would be. So what I feel like is a character that is like Katarina will appear. That has not been in the game before. As the main antagonist has not fulfilled her role. Also another thing I have a feeling that the red head character knows a lot more than he is letting on.

Final Thoughts

This was an enjoyable episode and I love Maria’s backstory. Basically establishing her as the best girl to me. I can’t wait to see what happens next. As this is one of those series that to me has no end goal. You can say it is surviving doom. But, come on this anime might as well be called Katarina’s Harem.
