I remember first reading this as a webtoon a while back ago. And I loved the beginning story and the way that it set up the story to be grand. Making this highschool has a similar feeling to Food Wars season one. Hyping up the school to be a grand land where all the best fighters to fight. Then, I read more and dropped it for some reason that I forgot about. I shortly remembered after watching the first three episodes of this anime.

As I was shocked on how much of the actual story element that they just ripped out of the webtoon. To then remember that this is a series that is halfway into it. Stops actually having a story that focuses purely on the fights. The anime does this similarly but, they do it right from the jump. Not really focusing on the story at all. More on the actual fights. As the person that got the most development was Han. But, even his story is one that felt weaker compared to the webtoon.
I just say if you like seeing fights and cool action. This is the anime for you. But, if you are a person that wants to invest your time into the characters and a well written story. Then, go watch a similar series Katanagatari. One that focuses on both aspects perfectly to me.
Final Thoughts
Thanks for reading this. I will say that I still enjoy the fights of this anime and most likely will just wait for them to be on YouTube. But, it is just my personal knock on the anime. It has amazing action, nice visuals, and great fights. Until next time, be great my A&M people.

Just saying this now I never said it was bad. Just not my cup of tea.
