I don’t know if it’s because I have nothing to do this week. But, for some strange reason I decided to watch every new anime that came out. Even ones that I said that I wouldn’t even touch. This anime being the top one that I would not touch. Well I watched the first 4 episodes and now eager for the next ones to come out. So let’s talk about it.

General Plot

This is a reincarnated overpower demon lord. In a world that has become peaceful 2000 years after his death. He is now just chilling in this new world. To regain his power the old fashion way by going to school. I say that it is worth the watch. As the writing in the very first 4 episodes was really good. Making me care for all of the cast so far. Now if that didn’t hook you. I’m about to spoil an amazing story that made me love this series.

The Story That Hooked Me

Now, the moment that hit me the most. Also spoiler warning again for the first four episodes. As the sisters and their whole dynamic was beautiful to me. Imagine being born with a twin. Not able to love that twin because she will be sacrificed to become part of you. As a twisted experiment by your family. So you work your whole life until that sacrifice date to make your sister hate you. So that you work this spell so your sister can be the conci mind and you are sacrificed.

Then it doesn’t work because no matter what. Your twin will always love you. That was beautiful to me and hooked me to the whole story. It might be trash in a couple of episodes. But, that moment to me already made me invested in the characters. The lord and it was setting up the story to be really good. With an end goal in sight.

Negatives

There are always the bad and this show has some also. First off, the length of peace to me is a little bit too long. 2000 year to get reincarnated is a little bit too much. Then, the Demon King being born and instantly growing into an adult is a little while. But, it was comedic when you hear a deep voice out of a baby. Also the plot is one that has been done time and time again. That really is the only negatives that I can think of. Besides that it’s great.

Final Thoughts
