This anime is an one that I came into expecting one thing. But, came out with something completely different and possibly better. As in this Comedy, Romance, Revenge, Drama, Musical, Kinda-Harem, Love Triangle, Feel Good, Acting series with a bit of Tragedy is one that I am so lost in and yet intrigued in at the same time. So let me talk about the first three episodes of this series called Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy or The Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose!

What is this series?

Before I talk about this series I highly recommend that you go blind into this series. As I feel that it is a better experience that way. Now about the anime, I am three episodes into it and I still can’t put a proper description on it. As I can say that this anime is generic rom-com. Yet it still has a unique concept that I have never seen before. As the plot of this series is best described as people in love getting revenge on that love with love and comedy. While also having deep moments that expand on the amazing group of characters of this anime. Along with these random moments of comedy that are amazing. That is the best way I can describe this series. But, I will say it is worth the watch.

The Cast

The entire cast so far is amazing to me. As they are a cast that are written with the generic troupes but, they defy their troupes. From the main protagonist with black hair, to the childhood friend, along with the secret childhood friend, to the best friend, to the rival, and many others. The more you watch the anime. The more you see the characters doing the completely opposite of what the troupe would do in that moment. Also one more thing is that the cast are doing this thing with them breaking the fourth wall without really breaking it. It is a weird way to describe it but, that is the best way I can say it.

Is it Good?

Like I can’t really explain this series to the tee. But, I will say that if you want a series with amazing characters, great comedic moments, some feels, and just a series that is everything yet nothing at all I recommend this series highly. And yeah it is oddly good.

Final Thoughts

This was the most vague yet descriptive first impression that I have ever made. So I apologize for the vagueness as this anime has so much. But, it’s really hard to describe it. I plan to watch it to completion and do a season review afterward. Hopefully I have a grasp at what this anime is by then.
